Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th July 2019

Hottest day of the year...and then an awful lot of rain to cool things down again. It was a surprise to no one when the message went out on Saturday morning that both leagues games were cancelled due weather. However there has been a bit of an east/west divide to the weather and in any case the storms moved away east pretty quickly through Saturday, so the bold of New Ash Green headed west on Sunday morning with optimism because it is that time of year again. It remains to be seen if any form of accurate reporting issues from the west country this year but the nostalgic can relive last year's tour exploits below.
Hopefully normal service [League cricket] might be resumed next weekend.
