No batsman was allowed to get too comfortable and Upchurch were all out for 104 in the 38th over. A Gleeson (4-29) topped the wicket-taking, with I Mellor, J Nash & F Quantrill also contributing one each. Freeman chalked up 3 catches, M Bushe took 2 and P Sumner & Quantrill each took one.

After tea, New Ash Green openers were early casualties, but Freeman (65*) in at No 3 steadied the chase, chalked up his 4th fifty this season and the visitors passed the line with a boundary making it 107-3 in the 25th over. Back to winning ways.
