Kent Feeder League (East) Match - 46 Overs per side
New Ash Green (3 points) 132 all out (45.2 overs)
Bobbing/Lower Halstow (20 points) 133-2 (36.4 overs)
New Ash Green lost by 8 wickets
New Ash Green got off to a flying start, with Matthew Quantrill lashing everything loose to the boundary, and reached 45 in the 7th over before he was bowled for 29 by a shooter. After that it was downhill all the way. Ian Martin made a steady 31, but no one else could really break the shackles and only 97 runs were added in the last 39 overs, the last wicket falling in the final over. Bobbing/LowerHalstow certainly didn't have it easy in response, and Vic Mayers briefly raised hopes in the middle of the innings with two wickets, but the target wasn't high enough to put them under pressure and they were able to ride their luck on occasions and nudge their way to a comfortable victory.

New Ash Green (-5 points) 42 all out (23overs)
Westgate (20 points) 46-2 (7.3 overs)
New Ash Green lost by 8 wickets
Badly affected by the holiday season New Ash Green went into the game with only 9 players, one of whom was not league registered and as the league refused to allow a late registration they technically forfeited the game. Asked to bat first only James Oliver made double figures, and although John Harley picked up two wickets Westgate cruised home in less than 8 overs.

Friendly Match
Sidcup 219-5 dec. (36 overs)
New Ash Green 101 all out (25.5 overs)
New Ash Green lost by 118 runs
A late change of opposition when East Malling dropped out left the Sunday side struggling again, though they kept Sidcup in check to the extent that none of them made 50. Wickets were evenly spread about, and Kieron Poole again demonstrated his golden arm talents, while Lee Saunders was the most economical of the bowlers.
Saunders also top scored with the bat, while Dan Lewsey and Matt Bushe both reached double figures and managed to put on a fifty partnership for the third wicket. After that the main point of interest was a number of players making a strong attack on the duck cup, a contest which could hot up nicely through September's friendly games.
